TAU Pays LMU A Friendly Visit
Thomas Adewumi University , Oko has a paid a courtsey visit to Landmark University. The visitation was led by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Francisca Oladipo and the principal officers and was well received by Professor Charity Aremu, the Vice-Chancellor, the Registrar and Deans among others at the International Exhibition Center, Landmark University.
Professor Francisca in her speech revealed that the purpose of the friendly visit is to strengthen the bond and have a good collaboration with the sister university. She further stressed that since the new administration began following her inauguration as the 2nd substantive Vice-Chancellor of TAU , she deemed it worthy and important to visit Landmark University. Prof. Francisca disclosed that it is a blessing to share proximity with Landmark University, she acknowledged that Landmark University has always been a model when it comes to ranking , she therefore appealed to the Vice-Chancellor and her hosting team for stronger collaboration and mentorship.
Prof. Charity Aremu while appreciating the Vice-Chancellor of TAU and the visiting team, described Prof. Francisca as a ” true daughter of the soil” She commended Engr.Dr. Johnson Bamidele Adewumi and Dr David Olaniyi Oyedepo, the founders of both universities for nuturing a good vision by establishing both institutions. Pro.Charity disclosed that Landmark University is ready to strengthening the collaboration with Thomas Adewumi University in the aspect of mentorship, subscription, grantsmanship and publication networking.
