TAU GOVERNING COUNCIL COMMENDS PROF. OLADIPO FOR OUTSTANDING LEADERSHIP AND INSTITUTIONAL GROWTH

The Governing Council of Thomas Adewumi University, Oko-Irese, Kwara State, has officially commended the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Francisca O. Oladipo, for her outstanding leadership, visionary approach, and relentless commitment to excellence, which have propelled the university to remarkable heights in record time.

In a prestigious letter of commendation dated March 19, 2025, the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Professor Victor Olarewaju, celebrated Professor Oladipo’s transformative achievements, describing her tenure as one of groundbreaking success and unwavering dedication to academic and institutional excellence.

Under her dynamic leadership, Thomas Adewumi University has recorded several landmark achievements, including:

. The introduction of 27 postgraduate programmes.

. A significant increase in student enrollment.

. The seamless hosting of the university’s maiden convocation ceremony

Beyond academics, she has championed staff and student welfare, financial prudence, and corporate social responsibility, ensuring that TAU continues to make a meaningful impact both within and beyond its walls.

Perhaps most notably, under her administration, the university has attracted over $100,000 in research grants, reinforcing TAU’s position as an institution dedicated to innovation, research, and sustainable development. This remarkable progress is further reflected in TAU’s recent ranking among the top 10 universities in Nigeria, and as the leading private university among those licensed in 2021.
