2022 was a remarkable year, We wouldn’t have achieved all these without you, YOU complete US. Here are some of the great moments we had in 2022.

– Our Chancellor, Engr. Dr. J.B. Adewumi bagged an honorary degree from KWASU. He was awarded an honorary degree of Doctor of Technology.

– First of its kind, in the year 2022, TAU announced the list of Students who made it to the Academic Hall of Fame of the 2021/2022 session from the three Faculties. We are indeed proud of these erudite scholars and this also serves as a pointer for other students to brace up.

–  We commissioned our 214Kw capacity solar farm. This is in lieu of the use of generators that emits carbon. With our solar, there was no power outage exceeding 20 minutes on campus.

–  We were able to partner with Coursera on industry credentials to boost employability for our students. The negotiation was done by the Chancellor, Engr. Dr. J.B Adewumi. 

– We celebrated our pioneer Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Luke Ayorinde. , we confirm the appointment of our 2nd substantive Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Francisca Oladipo. The appointment of the new administration was announced after a consensus was reached by the institution’s Board.

– Our Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Francisca Oladipo joins other notable Vice-Chancellors to celebrate NUC @60. 

– We sealed an MOU deal with Lovely Professional  University, India. In our bid to strengthen the quality of education, we give to our students, in the year 2022 we worked hard to sign the MOU with LPU in order to broaden our scope in Computer Science and Software Engineering.

– We had our first Clinical program lasted for about six (6) weeks. The program helped them gain practical knowledge in their field of study.

– Our VC was appointed by NUC as a member of the Eligibility Committee for a project ICT development in the Nigeria University System.

– We held our Maiden Software Engineering Bootcamp in conjunction with our sister school ( TAICO). We were able to introduce our young scholars to some of the key areas of Software Engineering such as Data Science, Machine Learning, and Web Development.

– we were ranked first (1st) among all Private Universities licensed in 2021. We were also ranked 5th position among Universities in Kwara State from the initial 8th position.
