 International Women’s Day ( IWD) is envisioned to recognize the role and impacts of women and girls in all sectors ( Finance, Political, Domestic, Academic, Agriculture, Technology, etc. )of society. This year’s theme is” DigitALL: innovation and technology for gender equality”.  Commemorating this eventful day at TAU,  we had an impactful and interactive session with our keynote speaker, Mrs. Ayodele Awokoya, who gave insightful steps and solutions to bridging the gap between the Men and Women ratio in Tech.

Emphasizing equity, it’s paramount for everyone to embrace equity, when you embrace equity, you embrace diversity, when you embrace equity, you embrace inclusion. Equity will help to drive success for all in all spheres of life. With equity, we can reach equality. Always reflect on how we can all be part of the solution, not the problem. 

Here is wishing all TAU’s girls, ladies, and women, a Happy IWD. You are strong, you are energetic, and you are who you think you are!
